Procida

Pastel houses overlooking the little harbour, and an island in no hurry.

Overview

Capital of Culture

Procida is the smallest of the islands in the Gulf of Naples, and perhaps the most honest. No luxury chains, no overwhelming crowds: just a handful of pink, yellow and powder-blue houses climbing up from the harbour.

It was Italian Capital of Culture in 2022, and since then it has found a new balance: better cared for, but still authentic.
